Cheerleading Information

For the fall 2021 season, The Strong Center will offer cheerleading for 3 age groups matching the age groups of football:
• Mini – Ages 6-8
• Mighty – Ages 9-10
• Pee Wee – Ages 11-12

The age groups are somewhat flexible, meaning that if needed siblings could potentially be put in the same group to make travel and time commitments for games easier. Participants will register for the age-appropriate group and the request to cheer for the sibling’s team will be discussed with the cheer coaches.

The cost of cheerleading is $125 for the season. The cost of registration covers the items listed below. The only additional item families will need to purchase is the cheer shoes.
• Uniform top & skirt (return at the end of the season)
• Long sleeve crop top (return at the end of the season)
• Bloomers
• Socks
• Bow

Fuquay-Varina Youth Football Cheerleader Registration for the fall 2021 season. Cost for the program is $125.

In the event that financial assistance is needed, The Strong Center offers a payment plan, or scholarships (upon presentation of a copy of a reduced lunch certificate or Medicaid). Extenuating hardship cases will be reviewed directly by The Strong Center Board of Directors. Remember Coach Strong says "if there is a child that wants to play, we will find a way."
