Biography: Coach Toni is entering his 1st season with East Wake Football League. Native of Amherst, N.Y. (suburb of Buffalo), Coach Toni attended SUNY Brockport and graduated with a degree in Physical Education (certified K-12), Minor in Coaching. Coach Toni spent 4 years as a teacher and Coach before moving to NC in 2003 Ryan works for Banyan Consulting Group, Inc. as an Employee Benefit Specialist. His wife Sarah is a teacher at FVES, they have two boys Camden (8), Griffin (5). Hobbies include cooking quality meals and exercising.

Biography:  Coach Hoover is entering his 6th season in the East Wake Football League and 3rd year head coaching with the Fuquay-Varina Youth Football organization. Mr. Hoover brings a history of excellence in football and track & field from Westminster High School (Westminster, MD). During his playing days, he achieved All-Conference honors in Carroll and Baltimore counties. He was also awarded Defensive MVP for Carroll County and nominated to the “Big 33” game between the states of Maryland and Pennsylvania. He has a passion to share his knowledge and experience to young athletes that have the desire to learn this sport.

He is currently a Territory Manager for John Deere Company in Cary, NC and resides in Fuquay-Varina with his wife Lisa and sons; Samuel, Joseph and Hayden. He is also President of his community Home Owner Association

Biography:

Coach Sweany is married to his middle school sweetheart, Leeann and they have been married for 11 years. He has three young children that go to Fuquay-Varina Elementary school and has lived in North Carolina for 10 years. Originally from West Michigan, Coach Sweany has played sports for as long as he can remember and developed a love to play any and all competitive sports. He enjoys being home with my family, working around the house, and being outside. Coach Sweany's family loves to go camping! Coach Sweany owns his own residential construction company, Sweany Homes.

Biography:

Coach Sam Hoover played football for Fuquay-Varina High School for a short time and has played football throughout his youth. Coach Hoover is excited to share his experience and knowledge with kids through coaching. Coach Hoover's father, Harry Hoover, is also a coach in the program and his brother Hayden has played for the program for the past 2 years. Coach Hoover serves and lives in the Fuquay-Varina community.

Played Quarterback ECU Pirates 00-01 Seasons Backup QB Moved to TE for JR. and SR year at ECU. Started at TE and Special Teams.
Played for Coach Steve Logan 4yrs and John Thompson 1yr.
Biography:

Coach Kaplar played Division 1 Football for the East Carolina University Pirates from 1999-2003. He participated in two bowl games during his time at East Carolina. While at ECU, he played for Hall of Fame Coach Steve Logan. Coach Kaplar majored in Business Management while at East Carolina University and graduated in 2003. Coach Kaplar is currently an insurance agency manager with NC Farm Bureau. He has had experience coaching mini mights and also flag football. Coach Kaplar believes in building kids' confidence and developing great work ethic in our children to develop them as leaders not only on our football team but in life. He firmly believes he is where he is today due to the work ethic that was instilled in him at a young age while participating in football. He wants kids to understand that in order to be successful it takes hard work and dedication and the ability to work together as a team to achieve a common goal. He wants to instill a Winning ATTITUDE with all children that he coaches. Coach Kaplar is married to Jessica Kaplar and we have one daughter Mackenzie who we call Mac and one son Colton who we call Colt. He enjoys spending time with family and enjoy being outdoors and golfing in his free time.

Biography:

This is Coach Williams' 1st year with the Fuquay-Varina Youth Football organization. Coach Williams has participated in youth sports in various capacities in the Fuquay-Varina community for several years. He is married to Wendy Williams and has 3 boys: Luke, Braxton and Tanner. Coach Williams is the Assistant Parts Manager at Dunn-Benson Ford.
